Tickets can only be purchased by individuals (maximum 19 paying tickets).

Groups of 20 paying people or more, tourism professionals, school and extracurricular groups should contact our reservations and customer relations department.

A valid proof of entitlement must be presented at ticket control for the purchase of reduced or free tickets.

How to visit

It is recommended that you print your tickets in advance.

The locker service is suspended. Pushchairs are not allowed in the monument.

Please note: the tour route includes 300 steps.

Animals are not allowed in the monument, except for guide and assistance dogs.

Cancellation and refund

No refunds or changes to the ticket, date or time will be possible after payment has been validated, except in the event of complete closure or cancellation by the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg. In the event of partial closure of the monument, no refund will be given.

European Heritage Days at Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle

An invitation to curiosity and discovery, the 40th edition of the European Heritage Days will take place on 21 and 22 September.

On this occasion, the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle opens its doors free of charge.

Throughout the weekend, take advantage of free tours to discover the eventful history of Haut-Koenigsbourg castle.

CASTLE ENTRANCE

Tickets are valid for the admission fee, without supplement, for 1 year from the date of purchase.

The 41st edition of the European Heritage Days will take place on 21 and 22 September.
On this occasion, the Haut-Kœnigsbourg will open its doors free of charge.

This admission ticket allows you to access the castle on a self-guided tour.

The Château is open every day, all year round, except on 1 January, 16 October, 25 and 26 December. Please see our opening times.

The castle is open free of charge every first Sunday of the month from November to March and during the European Heritage Days.
